Visual Artist and Educator

I am a visual artist and educator. I cannot imagine my life without art and I am always excited to go teach my elementary school students every day of the week. 

I have a BFA, MFA form the SF Academy of Art university and am currently working on getting my MAT.

I have been teaching art to many age groups, from elementary school children to adults, for 20 years. Teaching art is my passion in life and my growth as an artist is intertwined with my own students' growth.

My own work is realistic and I do commissions of portraits and animals. I also make mixed media artwork, experimenting and exploring different mediums and subjects.

The focus in my artroom is the exploration of the 7 elements of art and the principles of design through a variety of mediums and subject matter.
