Education Statement

My teaching philosophy

As an art educator, I create a safe environment to foster creativity in students and celebrate diversity and inclusion. The art projects are used to build confidence, make connections and relationships between students and myself. The use of routines, visual aids, demonstrations, hands on experience, and personal feedback is for my students to thrive in their learning. I encourage my students to experiment with various mediums and art forms. In my art class, I promote critical thinking and problem solving that can be used beyond the classroom.
